Introduction

INTRODUCTION:

April 1st 2019, no this site is not a joke.

The knowledge of Korean arms and armours in the Anglophone audience is often disappointingly lacking and interests especially so. But understandably; considering the lack of effort from the Korean media to create an effective and enticing introduction is largely the fault of this.

As a child, It was to my utter disappointment to see the almost complete barren quantity of English documents and blogs detailing the armaments of my kin's country. (such as mugap, namu wiki, etc.)

So from now on, i will do my best to attempt to compile a not so comprehensive list of Korean armaments from the 14th century onward to provide a basic introduction for those interested in Korean arms in the western world, or wherever it may be.

At least that is, until someone more competent comes alone. :)
